CHERNIVTSI NATIONAL UNIVERSITY – A CENTER FOR INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS TOURISM.

In the article the international scientific and educational relations of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University are analyzed as one of the directions of the development of international business tourism. The level of establishing of the scintific and educational relations of CHNU with educational. scientific and cultural institutions from Europe, America and other regions of the planet was determined. In total there are more than 120 partner institutions from 32 countries.The closest ties there are with Poland (32 parners), Germany (13), Romania (12), Russia (11), Moldova (7), Austria and Belarus (5 in each country), USA, Chezh Republic, Slovakia (4 partners in each country), Canada and Bulgaria (3 in each country). International relations of Chernivtsi National University with numerous organisations, foundations and programs (those include the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), Goethe-Institut, Fulbright Program in Ukraine, Peace Corps, Austrian Academic Exchange Service (OeAD), Catholic Academic Exchange Service (KAAD) and many others) are being intensively developed. CHNU is the member of European University Association – Magna Charta, the honorary member of is the International University Association (Phi Beta Delta Society, USA), the member of Danube Rectors’ Conference (DRC), the member of four University Consortia, including Eastern European Universities Consortium which unites 11 HEIs of the region. We have researched the CHNU’s participation in the EU international programs: Erasmus Mundus (the member of 6 projects: EMERGE, emp-aim, EUROEAST, IANUS, IANUS II, HUMERIA), TEMPUS (the member of 8 projects: Cap4Com, TRUST, CuQ, EcoBRU, INOTLES, PICASA, CABRIOLET, EANET), Jean Monnet Programme, Complex Research of European Integration, Joint operation programs Romania – Ukraine – Republic of Moldova (2007-2013) and others. We have analyzed cooperation and international and multi-partner scientific projects and we have shed some light upon different directions of student participation in international educational projects.
