OPPORTUNITIES OF TREATMENT AND RELAXING TOURISM RELATED TO SPLETOTOURISM ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE DUZDAGH

Aim. Among tourism types health or health&well-being kind of tourism is increasingly becoming popular nowadays. People pay attention to their recreation of healthy by taking treatment not only at hospitals but also wiht the help of natural resources and it causes to the development of health&well-being tourism. That is why on the one hand we tried to explore health&well-being tourism opportunities in the case of speleotherapy and on the other hand the main aim is to define perspectives and give suggestions for this kind of tourism. Materials and methods. Most of indicators were referred to data of State Statistical Committee of Republic, interviews with representatives of Duzdagh center and references. Results. In fact, treatment with natural resources has been used from the ancient times, but travel with this purpose is just new concept. There are lots of natural treatment resources such as medical muds, mineral-thermal waters, Naphthalan oil,  medical herbs, Duzdagh in Azerbaijan. The article provides information on Duzdagh, which is very effective on the treatment of lung diseases, including treatment with salt ions. From this point of view all opportunties of Duzdagh, medical methods here, effectiveness and results of treatments, tourism statistics are explored and given in the main body of article. Conclusions. At the end of article, it was given information about the apply of this natural-recreation resources in the treatment of diseases, their result, evaluation of them as a tourist object and  author’s suggestions on this have been put forward.
