GEO-ECOLOGICAL PROBLEMS OF A LAND USE OF THE UNITED TERRITORIAL COMMUNITIES OF TERNOPIL REGION

In the article, the subject of the study are geoecological problems of balanced land use of joint territorial communities. Administrative reform of Ukraine, obliges to develop new, scientifically based approaches, to the use of land resources of new administrative units. Especially this issue is relevant for the Ternopil region, since the natural resource potential of land resources is the highest. The main goal of the study was to highlight the geoecological problems of rational land use of territorial communities. The spatial analysis of the land areas of the forty joint territorial communities of the Ternopil region is carried out in the article. The share of forest lands is estimated, which in most communities is less than 20%., Plowing – 60-70% and zaluzhenosti – 13%. This, in turn, creates an imbalance in the ratio of natural and economic land, as 26: 74%, respectively. Then, according to scientifically justified norms, this ratio should be 40: 60%. In this regard, we proposed a number of optimization measures to address the main geo-ecological problems of land use of joint territorial communities. The key directions of ensuring rational use of land resources based on balanced development of the territory are substantiated. In the future, the development of an optimization model of land use based on landscape-adapted land use is envisaged. The implementation of this approach is the most effective and economically viable at the present stage of the formation of land relations in Ukraine. Geo-ecological problems of a balanced land use of the united territorial communities are the subject of the research in this particular article. Public administration reform in Ukraine obliges to elaborate new,  scientifically substantiated approaches to the use of  land resources of  the newly created administrative units. This question is particularly actual for Ternopil region because of  the highest naturally resourceful  potential of a land resourses. The main objective of the research  was to reveal the geo-ecological problems of a rational land use of the territorial communities. The spatial analysis of a land territory of the 40 united territorial communities of Ternopil region was conducted in this article. The key problems of a forest area, which in most communities is less than 20%, plowing (60-70%) and a part of natural territory (26%). The analysis of the land use have shown a major discordance  with the scientifically substantiated norms. The great part of anthropogenic land sand a small part of natural force to elaborate and to introduce an optimal models of a balanced land use. It will be the most effective  on the stage of the formation of a new agricultural relations in Ukraine

Key words: land territory, land fund, united territorial communities, forests, plowing, natural lands.
