THE ALTITUDINAL-LANDSCAPE DIFFERENTIATION OF THE LEFT BANK THE DNIPRO RIVER OF UKRAINE TERRITORY: REGIONAL ASPECT.

The definition of «vertical» and «altitudinal» differentiation, their distinguishing features are taken into account in this article. The definition of «altitudinal-landscape complex» is given. In accordance to such definition it is understood as a specific paradynamic landscape system structure, functioning and development of which determined by altitude and relative height of the territory. The key factors of their formation are geological-geomorphological, climatic, hydrogeological and hydrological, anthropogenic and man-caused. The system of taxonomic units altitudinal-landscape differentiation of the Left Bank the Dnipro river of Ukraine territory is grounded on spatial levels: macrolevel and altitudinal-landscape complexes which correspond to it, mesolevel and altitudinal-landscape levels and stages, and microlevels with land units. The criteria system of altitudinal-landscape levels detachment is characterized with the highest level of minuteness, because such units are understood as the key operating units of regional altitudinal-landscape structure of the Left bank the Dnipro river of Ukraine territory. The results of mapping modeling such structure according to the regional specificity of factors its origin and development is presented by author. Three altitudinal-landscape levels was distinguished and characterized: 1) first (lower) level with predominant altitude of 100-170 м above the sea level and development of gydrogenic landscapes of flood-lands and above flood-lands terrace; 2) second (middle) level with altitude of 150-220 м above the sea level and prevalence of typical zonal landscapes, and, also 3) third (upper) level with altitude of 200-245 м above the sea level and relatively ancient ripe azonal landscape complexes. Emphasis also is placed on the opportunity to use obtained results for the needs to substantiation and validation the key taxonomic units and relevant documents of landscape planning.
