THE HUMAN-GEOGRAPHICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF FORCED MIGRATION FROM THE DONETSK, LUHANSK REGION AND AR CRIMEA IN THE VOLYN REGION.
In the article a quantity and spatial distribution of the internally displaced persons from the Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea on the territory of Volyn region are analyzed. At the end of 2015 in the Volyn region, there were 4,490 internally displaced persons from the east and south of Ukraine: from the Donetsk region arrive 50.8% of forced migrants, from the Lugansk region – 40.8%, from the Autonomous Republic of Crimea – 8.4%. In the demographic structure of migrants strongly dominated by women (62.9%), children account for 28.8%, persons of pension age – 27.3%, people with disabilities – 3.5%. The average family size is 1.8 persons. The most migrants on the territory of Volyn region are observed in the cities Lutsk (36.1%), Kovel (9.2%), Novovolynsk (8.6%), and also in Kivertsi (5.2%), Lutsk (4.7% ) Ratne (4.3%), Lyubeshiv (4.0%), Gorokhiv (3.8%), Manevychi (3.6%) districts. Migrants settle in the cities and towns, which have a favorable human-geographical position, well-developed socio-economic infrastructure, gravitate to the regional center or external borders with other countries or regions. The average number of forced migrants per 10,000 actual population is 43.1 people. The highest index are in the cities of Lutsk (74.6), Novovolynsk (66.9), Kovel (59.6), and in Lyubeshiv district (49.4). The lowest are in Kamin-Kashyrskyj (19.9), Lokachi (16.1), Stara Vyzhivka (14.8), Ivanychi (12.8) districts. The influence of internally displaced persons on the demographic situation in the Volyn region is insignificant.
